Modern hardware and software assist us in performing quality, on time responsive and competitively priced jobs. Also, the implementation of quality assurance system increased significantly the performances of DEXTRON.

petrochemicals Dextron offers clients the very best service available in the field of process engineering design and build today. We offer dependable services coupled with superlative rates and undeniable quality, all delivered within the customers time scales.

In our Projects we utilise the latest proven cutting edge technology available, combined with tried and tested Process design, build and commissioning skills, all of which have been successfully used by our engineers for many years worldwide.

dairy We can offer clients a complete Turnkey solution, starting from the design stage through to the finished product. Our experienced team of dedicated professionals are at the very peak of their chosen fields, with expertise encompassing all aspects from design, civils, mechanical, electrical, automation, commissioning and training.

Our team have experience with major companies throughout the world, not overlooking the many diverse smaller companies we have dealt with. This vast bank of knowledge puts us in the position of being able to provide clients with the very best that modern day process engineering has to offer.

In short, we are particularly interested in forming long term working partnerships with clients that is open and transparent from day one. We help the client to make the right decisions, for their company. We are determined as a company to establish "client satisfaction" on every project we complete thereby maintaining a relationship with the client post completion and sign off, ensuring in our continuity and success. All too often in the Turnkey Project engineering world of today, the client specifies what his production requirement is and puts this requirement out to tender. The various project management companies will then offer the client a proposal to satisfy this requirement at a budget cost, with little or know regard to the plants medium and longer term commercial viability.

We offer the client our unequalled experience and can make a strong claim to be the best at what we do. We will never undertake a project for any client unless we are 100% satisfied we can deliver exactly what the client requires, up to and above their specification. Our standards will always be uncompromisingly high. We hold a strong basic belief that " you only get out of a project, what you put in".

If you have a genuine production facility requirement in any of our specialised fields then please send us a brief out line of your enquiry with all of your contact details and we will get in touch with you immediately. Because we are an internationally operating company with a worldwide network of resources, you will be pleasantly surprised just how competitive we can be!

Project Management

Project management ties together all activities of a project. A project may be well conceived and adequately financed; the contracts may be carefully drawn up; the contractors may be specialists; and consultants may be highly experienced. But if the efforts of all the participants are not expertly coordinated and skillfully managed, the project may overrun the budget, fail to meet the schedule, or fall short in technical quality. The larger and more complex the project, the more critical is this overall management function.

DEXTRON forms highly skilled and experienced teams capable of organizing, scheduling, and integrating all the individual elements of a project.

This team approach:

  • Establishes priorities
  • Focuses on the overall picture
  • Takes full advantage of available resources
  • Resolves conflicts
  • Identifies issues before they become problems
  • Helps customers maintain steady control of the project and its many elements. On major projects, the effort frequently involves a wide variety of participants, including designers, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, lenders, state and federal agencies, and public interest and community groups. An integrated project management team organizes and manages the full range of services necessary to oversee project demands, from the master planning phase through operations. The primary activities involved in managing a successful project can be broken down into the following basic categories: controls, design, and construction. In each category, there are three overriding objectives:
  • Complete the elements of the project and the overall project within budget and schedule.
  • Maximize the involvement of local participants (engineers, architects, contractors, etc.).
  • Create top-quality facilities with the flexibility to meet future demands efficiently.
  • Scope of work definition and monitoring
  • Project schedule, manpower requirements, and planning development and maintenance
  • Establishment and maintenance of project cost control
  • Development and maintenance of project reporting requirements
  • Development and maintenance of project change procedure and approvals
  • Establishment of project team and task assignments
  • Close communication between disciplines and with clients
  • Quality audits
  • Management of design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and start-up by staff trained in CII capital project
  • management techniques
  • Process Design
  • Mass and energy balances
  • Distillation and absorption columns
  • Pollution control systems
  • Gas handling and feed distribution systems
  • Flow diagrams
  • Combustion system design and applications
  • Equipment specification
  • Functional and mechanical design of heat exchangers
  • Heating and cooling support systems
  • Liquid and gas distribution system design and controls
  • Process feasibility studies
  • Profitability evaluations
  • Production optimization studies
  • Reaction vessels and condensers
